An offering of distinctively-styled Southern Living magazine, the Custom Builder Program recognizes an elite group of approximately 100 custom home builders from across the country, as well as select architects and suppliers, whose work exemplifies Southern hospitality and craftsmanship. One of only three Southern Living Custom Builders in Maryland, Selfridge was selected for this honor based on its financial standing, reputation for quality, attention to detail, and involvement with clients throughout the construction process. Members enjoy:

• Access to an extensive array of architectural plans by leading architects such as Stephen S. Fuller, Brian Barks, and the team of Rick Gary and Steve Ragsdale

It was Christina Selfridge, wife of owner Jim Selfridge, who in 1994 first conceived of adding Southern Living style to Selfridge's custom home design portfolio. Since 1997, Selfridge Builders has met the exacting standards required to be selected for the program each and every year.
